Mitsubishi Oman Facebook Campaign Overwhelmed with Tips on Road Safety

 In line with the recently concluded Traffic Safety Expo 2013, General Automotive Company (GAC), dealers of Mitsubishi in Oman, announced the winners of their social media road-safety initiative organised on their Facebook page. As a part of the campaign, Mitsubishi fans were invited to submit safety tips, with the winning safety tips to be featured in a number of advertisements to help increase the awareness of road safety in the Sultanate. From the myriad of safety tips that were submitted, GAC has selected four tips via a random raffle draw. The winners names were announced on Mitsubishi’s facebook page and each was presented with a gift voucher from GAC.

The four winners of the raffle - Ronak Bhatt, Priya Dadhich, Wafaa EL Anany and Abdullah Zahid, sent in their ideas of how to increase safety on the roads in the Sultanate and will be featured in a public announcement from Mitsubishi Oman. As part of the Traffic Safety Expo 2013, the social media initiative emphasized the importance of exercising caution while on the road, and also engaged directly with customers and fans, inviting ideas on how best to exercise safety and caution while on the roads.

I would also like to congratulate the four people whose entries were selected. The Traffic Safety Expo 2013 brought to light not only the latest trends and most innovative solutions in traffic safety, but also highlighted the industry best practices towards reducing the number of traffic accidents and related injuries.”
