GAC Reopens Showrooms Across Oman

General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi and FUSO Vehicles in Oman, has announced that it has now reopened its showrooms to customers across the country following the COVID-19 lockdown period. All showrooms will now be open from Saturday to Thursday.

As part of the reopening, GAC has announced the implementation of several new measures to ensure the safety of customers. At the forefront of these are the implementation of the government’s directives and social distancing controls. All staff have been briefed on the government’s advise and protocols as well as adhere to strict personal hygiene practices. GAC has also announced the implementation of an exhaustive sanitisation program for all demonstration and test drive vehicles.

Commenting on the reopening of the Sales centres, Manoj Ranade, the General Manager of GAC said, “The safety of our customers is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, in addition to all these changes at the showroom, we have also put systems in place to ensure the entire purchase process can be carried out remotely if required. This includes everything from personal video sales consultations, vehicle selection, payments, and delivery. We can even arrange for a test drive of your preferred Mitsubishi model directly at your preferred location.”

Furthermore, as per government directives, only a limited number of people will be allowed into the showrooms at any one time. Every member of staff will always be wearing masks and gloves and it is encouraged for customers to do so as well. Hand sanitizers will also be provided at the entrance and exit of every showroom.
