Mitsubishi Oman Kicks Off ‘Talent Hunt’ with KooooraWa Bus

General Automotive Company, the official distributors for Mitsubishi in Oman are taking forward their commitment to support the community and local talent with a ‘Talent Hunt’ organised in association with KOOOORA Wa Bas.The event kicked-off on 26th Marchwith a nationwide roadshow and applications will be taken till June 12, which can be dropped off at any Mitsubishi showroom across the Sultanate.The event will draw to a close at a grand finale event to be held later in the Year.

As a part of a five-roadshow event, talentedyoung footballers have been invited from acrossthe Sultanate to showcase their skills in front of a large number of spectators. Their performances will be judged by former players of the National Football Team and coaches from various football clubs across Oman, and winners will be given cash prizes making for a memorable evening for fans of the most popular game in the Sultanate of Oman.

Mark Tomlinson, the General Manager of General Automotive Company commented, “In line with the array of initiatives that Mitsubishi Oman organises in the Sultanate, this Talent Hunt, in partnership with KOOOORA Wa Bas will provide a platform for football enthusiasts in the country to showcase their talents as well as demonstrate their passion towards the sport. Through the competition, we look forward to identifying the next generation of talented young footballers in Oman.”

KOOOORA Wa Bas will conduct five roadshows which will travel through Muscat, Batinah, Dakhliyah, Sharkiyah and Salalahin order to shortlist 25 talented finalists. The top five performers from each region will then be brought together for the grand finale event to be held later in the year.

Mitsubishi Oman and KOOOORA Wa Bas invite all budding young Omani football fans, between the age group of 12 to 18 years to make the most of the opportunity and demonstrate their skills to have the chance to be crowned ‘Top Talent’ and win the OMR 2,000 grand prize sponsored by General Automotive Company. The first runner up will win OMR 1,000 with best compliments of KooooraWa Bus while the second runner up will receive OMR 500 courtesy of Areej Vegetable Oil Company SAOG.
