Mitsubishi Showcases Key Models at Oman Motor Show 2016

Mitsubishi, represented in Oman by the General Automotive Company (GAC), put on display some of its most prominent models at the 2016 edition of the Motor Show Oman, which was held at the recently opened Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 7 to 10.

With three different cars on display and decorated in its trademark colours of Red and White, with giant Tri-diamond logos adorning the edges, the Mitsubishi exhibition stand drew in over 4,000 visitors over the four day show.

Commenting on the brands participation at the motor show, Manoj Ranade, the GM of General Automotive Company said, “Given the popularity of the motor show, together with the new location at the recently opened Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, presented us with a unique opportunity to showcase three of our most popular models – the Lancer EX, ASX and Montero Sport. These models showcase the Brand’s unique automotive strengths and overall diversity and were a treat for all Mitsubishi owners and fans visiting the show.”

Each of these three Mitsubishi models presents customers a unique experience – the Lancer EX has a range of styles and engines to suit anyone looking for a spacious high-quality Japanese family saloon; the ASX offers drivers all the benefits of a traditional SUV, such as a spacious interior, practicality and extra height for better visibility, combined with the ease of driving and fuel efficiency of a smaller car; while the Montero Sport is a new state-of-the-art SUV that brings with it a host of new technologically advanced features that have never before been seen in any model in its segment.

“Mitsubishi has always has a strong fan following in the country with many admiring the strong performance and personality offered by each of our cars at a value price point. The motor show provided us with the perfect platform to showcase these models and their strengths; allowing us to welcome even more people to Mitsubishi’s ever growing family of fans and owners,” added Manoj.
