Season 17 of Mitsubishi’s Team Pajero Desert Adventure Ends

Mitsubishi’s Season 17 Team Pajero Desert Adventure concluded on 29^th February with a convoy of over 50 vehicles that drovealongside undulating dunes of Wahiba Sands to demonstrate their reliance on Pajero to reach even the most daunting off-road destination.

Organised by General Automotive Company (GAC), official distributors for Mitsubishi in Oman, the event brought together around 250 enthusiasts who collectively lived the desert adventure and celebrated their love forPajero at the designated Al Raha Camp. Season 17 of the adventure also brought to fore GAC’s ongoing ‘Be Adventure-ready with Mitsubishi 4WDs’ campaign, which is designed to instil a sense of adventure among car enthusiasts. While the premise behind the campaign is to push people to get out and get active with Mitsubishi’s unmatchable range of 4-wheel drives, alongside a booster dose of cash-back and free offers, the Team Pajero event was all about celebrating that very spirit of adventure.

Commending the efforts put in by GAC team in ensuring the success of the season’s finale, Manoj Ranade, General Manager, said, “The annual Team Pajero event is our way of encouraging our patrons to come out of the comforts of their homes and partake in adventurous activities that are focused on generating shared experiences and camaraderie among owners who are all connected by Mitsubishi’s credo of power and prestige. Over the years these desert adventures, arranged for Mitsubishi Pajero owners, have proven to be highpoints of the calendar, attracting repeat participants, many who want to relive the experience or simply bond with other owners. With guides in tow and an exciting itinerary set for a comfortable overnight stay at Al Raha Camp, the annual adventures are crafted to provide Pajero owners an opportunity to hone their desert driving skills and also savour the joys of communing with nature.While the drivers are taken on a dune bashing session, the group itself is taken atop a dune overlooking the camp to witness the stunning sunset. The evening at the camp is packed with activities and entertainment for the families. Participants are also invited to try camel riding and dune biking the following morning.
