General Automotive Company Delivers Record-Breaking Fleet of Cars to NRT

General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, handed over a fleet of Mitsubishi Montero Sport and Mitsubishi Pajerovehicles to National Renaissance Trading (NRT)at a formal ceremony held at the Mitsubishi Motors Showroom, on 11th July.

The handover ceremony underlines GAC’s new phase of growth in the local automotive industry, which received a shot in the arm during the recently concluded Ramadan campaign, with discounts and deals ranging from cash gifts to service options. Speaking on the sidelines of the occasion, Manoj Ranade, General Manager of GAC, said, “This is a positive affirmation of our fast-paced growth in the market. With the handover of premium vehicles to NRT, the flourishing rent-a-car and travel and tourism firm, we have consolidated our position in the market as the preferred automobile company for both individual as well as corporate buyers.”

NRT’s choice of Montero and Pajero cars from the Mitsubishi stable is an assertion of the growing popularity of 4WDs. Over the years, Mitsubishi has endeared itself to drivers from different walks of life in this car-loving nation, reaching newer heights of success with high tech additions and features. “We are on the threshold of expanding our service portfolio and the addition of Mitsubishi vehicles into our fleet is designed to augment our strategic development in the local rent-a-car industry. We are aware of the market requirements and with Mitsubishi Montero Sport and Pajero we have found the right factors to balance the scale in our favour. Our discerning clients have always preferred cars that are comfortable to use on every kind of terrain and also have that exciting element of luxury packed in them. Our choice of these two popular Mitsubishi brands is a perfect match,” said Issa Mohammed Ali Al-Awsi of NRT.

The handover of keys to NRT is a crowning glory in GAC’s success ladder. It marks a decisive stage in the tactical policy followed by GAC to reach different sectors of the local market. “GAC has structured its market expansion on the premise of customer service; this record-breaking sale of our premium fleet is a validation of our proactive strategy. It establishes our domination in the competitive automobile market… We have, in effect, created newer benchmarks of success for others in the industry. Teamwork is what sets GAC apart, and this new feather in our cap is a testimony to the synergy between the different departments of Zubair Automotive Group. We are upbeat and are positive that our recent success will help us shape 2019 into a winning year,”Ranade stated.

The handover of the keys of Mitsubishi vehicles comes in the wake of GAC’s structured growth in the fleet segment. With the first half of the year setting the pace of growth for the next half, GAC is all set to augment this record-breaking sale with further successes.
